Since every project is unique, pricing is determined by the scope of work and materials required. All work receives a detailed quote after our initial consultation.

Private Sewing Lessons
Lessons are tailored to your specific goals and pace, with instruction available for everything from understanding your sewing machine to mastering advanced techniques.
Rate: $50 per hour
Students are encouraged to bring their own sewing machine to get comfortable with their equipment, along with materials for their chosen project.

About the Seamstress
Hi - I’m Erin Eckerman! At Tideline Stitchworks, I believe clothing should fit your body, not the other way around. My mission is to give your beloved items a longer life through thoughtful repairs and alterations that create a perfect, comfortable fit.
My husband Bogdan, our dog Maple, and I are proud to call Bowen Island home. I started this business to serve our community and contribute to its self-sufficiency. The name "Tideline" is inspired by my deep love for the coastal ecosystem that surrounds us here.
Backed by over a decade of experience, I find great joy in the problem-solving and artistry of this work. I look forward to helping you create and care for your cherished garments.
